Buyer Terms (for people buying from the Souk Too marketplace)

Hi there! These terms explain how buying works on our Souk Too marketplace.
By placing an order, you agree to follow them.

1. Who can shop
   -You must be at least 18 years old or have a parent/guardian agree to these terms.
   -You must give us correct information for your account, contact details and shipping
   address.
2. Buying from sellers
   -Our marketplace connects you with independent sellers — they are responsible for the
   products they sell.
   -Check the product details carefully before ordering.
   -Check the country items are shipped from and the seller shipping fees before ordering.
   -You should contact sellers to place an order using our messenger service.
3. Payments
   -Payment should be made in full when your order is agreed.
   -Sellers should provide payment details once they agree your order.
   -Payments and shipping are a private matter between Buyer and Seller.
   -Sellers must offer payment options which include integrated Buyer Protection or
   Chargeback Protection (PayPal, Stripe, Debit Card, Klarna, Revolut).
   -Avoid methods of payment like cheques and wire transfers.
   -Souk Too and its owners are not responsible for managing or handling payments.
4. Shipping & delivery
   -Sellers must have their individual shipping fees clearly visible on listings and their profile.
   -You are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes if you’re ordering
   internationally.
5. Returns & refunds
   -Each seller sets their own returns policy, which will be shown on their listing.
   -Understand a seller’s returns policy before making an order.
6. Reviews & conduct
   -You are encouraged to leave honest reviews based on your own experience.
   -Seller ratings are indicative of their level of service.
   -No abusive, offensive, or false reviews.
   -While Souk Too is generally safe, scams can occur. Buyers and sellers should be aware of
   common scams and take precautions.
7. Disputes & problems
   -If you receive something that’s not as described, you may be eligible for a refund.
   -Contact the seller to discuss the matter of a return or refund.
   -Souk Too owners regularly monitor seller and buyer star ratings to ensure good service.
   -We reserve the right to remove account memberships when star ratings drop below 4
   stars average.
   -If a buyer or seller encounters suspicious activity, they should immediately cancel the
   transaction, stop communication, and report the listing or person.
8. Upholding Rules and Standards
   – To maintain fairness in ‘Souk Too’ we operate a system of one warning for participants,
   followed by removal from the site for any second rule violation.
9. Changes to these terms
   -We can update these rules from time to time, and we’ll let you know about any major
   changes before they happen
