Love this! Late 19th century Tibetan Needle case, Yak leather construction, worn soft & tactile with age, the front is High Silver ( tested) with lovely intricate repousse with a horse, deer, birds etc and set with a turquoise. Made to hang from a belt, usually at the back. Hand stitched felted wool pulls out on the attached leather tongue. There was originally a fabric insert on the back, you can just see gold & red threads remaining attesting to this pieces age & authenticity. 13 x 6cm / 5 ¼ x 2 ¼ inches excluding ties etc 2.5cm / 1ins 121g
