A beautiful Art Decó style necklace made of 31 spherical lampwork, “Wedding cake” glass beads and 30 turquoise glass seed beads. The beads were made in Murano, Venice, Italy circa early 1900s.

I believe the necklace has been more recently restrung, using the elements from a genuine Venetian necklace circa 1920.

The beads are in rather mint condition, with a brass finial protecting each end.
The base is periwinkle blue. The metallic areas are made from sparkling gold aventurine.

Collectable and useful as jewellery components.

Beads in graduated sizes from 0.8cm – 1.6cm diameter.

Necklace length: adjustable up to 54cm.

Weight: 52.4 grams.
