A beautiful Art Decó style necklace made of 37 spherical lampwork, “Wedding cake” glass beads and 39 opalescent glass seed beads. The beads were made in Murano, Venice, Italy circa early 1900s.

I believe the necklace itself is also genuine Venetian, probably created in the 1920s-1930s. It has a typical screw closure and is on a silky string.

The beads are in rather mint condition, with a brass finial protecting each end. The metallic areas are made from sparkling gold aventurine

Collectable and useful as jewellery components.

Beads in graduated sizes from 0.8cm – 2cm diameter.

Necklace length: 53cm.
