Characterful old Akor – Tibetan Earring, early to mid 1800’s, tests high Silver with Turquoise. There has been some historical movement of the stones in the second section, it would once have had a more domed shape, the red matrix holding the stones has dropped a little & is more visible than usual, but all the stones are present & it doesn’t, to my eye, detract from a lovely piece. Very unusual in having 5 sections instead of the more usual 4. 9.5 x 3.4cm / 3 ¾ x 1 ¼ ins 34g
