Seller Terms (for people or businesses selling on the Souk
Too marketplace)
Welcome! These terms explain the rules for selling on our Souk Too marketplace. By
creating a seller account or listing an item, you’re agreeing to follow them.
- Who can sell
You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to run your business.
You’re responsible for making sure your products and your business follow all laws,
including tax rules.
You must be able to accept international payments with buyer protection integrated. - Your account & listings
The contact information you give us must be correct and up to date.
All listings must be accurate — descriptions, prices, and photos must match the product
you are selling.
Listings must include: age, origin, measurements, weight, materials, price.
You must display your individual returns policy on your seller profile and your listings.
You can’t list anything that’s banned by law or our prohibited items list (we will keep that
list updated). - Orders & shipping
When a shopper buys your item, you must ship it within the time agreed.
You must clearly and accurately state your shipping fees on every listing.
You must clearly and accurately state the country you’ll ship from on every listing.
You must include your shipping fees and terms on your seller profile.
Shipments should be sent tracked and traced.
We recommend adding adequate insurance to all shipments.
Package items safely so they arrive in good condition.
If you can’t fulfil an order, you must cancel it quickly and let the buyer know.
When payment has been made, you must refund within 7 days of order cancellation. - Payments & fees
Payment is arranged privately between buyer and seller, using our messaging service.
Payments and shipping are a private matter between buyer and seller.
Sellers should report payment failures to the site owner (Amber).
You are responsible for reporting and paying your own taxes. - Content & ownership
You keep ownership of your product photos and descriptions, but you give us permission
to use them on our site and marketing.
It’s recommended that you watermark your images.
Do not use content you don’t have rights to. - Fair dealing
No fake reviews, misleading information, or attempts to sell outside the platform to
accounts registered here.
Treat buyers with respect — respond to messages within a reasonable time.
Set realistic expectations with buyers regarding purchase processing times.
Abide by e-commerce/distance selling regulations in the country you trade from.
While Souk Too is generally safe, scams can occur. Buyers and sellers should be aware of
common scams and take precautions. - Disputes & problems
Buyer and seller complaints should be reported to the site owner (Amber).
Sellers whose feedback drops below 4 stars average are subject to review.
If there’s a serious rule breach, we withhold the right to suspend or close your account at
any time.
If a buyer or seller encounters suspicious activity, they should immediately cancel the
transaction, stop communication, and report the listing or person. - Changes to these terms
We can update these rules from time to time. If we make big changes, we will tell you
before they take effect.
Buyer Terms (for people buying from the Souk Too
marketplace)
Hi there! These terms explain how buying works on our Souk Too marketplace. By
placing an order, you agree to follow them. - Who can shop
You must be at least 18 years old or have a parent/guardian agree to these terms.
You must give us correct information for your account, contact details and shipping
address. - Buying from sellers
Our marketplace connects you with independent sellers — they are responsible for the
products they sell.
Check the product details carefully before ordering.
Check the country items are shipped from and the seller shipping fees before ordering.
You should contact sellers to place an order using our messenger service. - Payments
Payment should be made in full when your order is agreed.
Sellers should provide payment details once they agree your order.
Payments and shipping are a private matter between Buyer and Seller.
Sellers must offer payment options which include integrated Buyer Protection or
Chargeback Protection (PayPal, Stripe, Debit Card, Klarna, Revolut).
Avoid methods of payment like cheques and wire transfers.
Souk Too and its owners are not responsible for managing or handling payments. - Shipping & delivery
Sellers must have their individual shipping fees clearly visible on listings and their profile.
You are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes if you’re ordering
internationally. - Returns & refunds
Each seller sets their own return policy, which will be shown on their listing.
Understand a seller’s returns policy before making an order. - Reviews & conduct
You are encouraged to leave honest reviews based on your own experience.
Seller ratings are indicative of their level of service.
No abusive, offensive, or false reviews.
While Souk Too is generally safe, scams can occur. Buyers and sellers should be aware of
common scams and take precautions. - Disputes & problems
If you receive something that’s not as described, you may be eligible for a refund.
Contact the seller to discuss the matter of a return or refund.
Souk Too owners regularly monitor seller and buyer star ratings to ensure good service.
We reserve the right to remove account memberships when star ratings drop below 4
stars average.

We can update these rules from time to time, and we’ll let you know about any major
changes before they happen
